Accreditation

ASTM International: is an international standards organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services.

IAS: The International Accreditation Service (IAS) provides objective evidence that an organization operates at the highest level of ethical, legal and technical standards. IAS is a nonprofit, public-benefit corporation that has been providing accreditation services since 1975.

AASHTO: The AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP) was established in 1988 as a means of formally recognizing the competence of testing laboratories to perform specific tests on construction materials. AAP is a voluntary program that is available to all testing laboratories including government, commercial, university, and research facilities.

AMRL: The primary vision of the AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) is to be the center for promoting quality and achievement of excellence in construction materials testing (CMT). We do this by providing services and tools through our three major programs: the Laboratory Assessment Program (LAP), the Proficiency Sample Program (PSP), and the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP).

CCRL: The CCRL Laboratory Inspection Program has expanded in scope over the years to include cement, concrete, aggregate, steel reinforcing bars, pozzolan,and masonry materials (mortar and solid units).

AWS-CWI: The American Welding Society (AWS) was founded in 1919, as a non-profit organization with a global mission to advance the science, technology and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes, including brazing, soldering and thermal spraying.

ASNT: The American Society for Nondestructive Testing, Inc. or ASNT is a technical society for nondestructive testing (NDT) professionals. ASNT evolved from The American Industrial Radium and X-Ray Society which was founded in 1941.[1] Its headquarters is located in Columbus, OH, and there are 70 local sections in the USA and 14 local sections in other countries.

Special Inspection

Every construction project in New York City requires Special Inspections for all materials, equipment, installation, fabrication, erection or placement of components and connections to verify that work is being done in accordance with the code, approved plans, and specifications. Special Inspections must be performed by qualified Special Inspectors on behalf of a Special Inspection Agency.
